Two inhales through the nose, followed by an extended exhale through the mouth. This breathing pattern called “physiological sigh” is the simplest and most efficient way to reduce stress and anxiety. I was skeptical, I tried, and it works… in real-time! Although I couldn’t find scientific papers about this method, Pr Huberman explains how it works in this 2min video:
